UK MANUFACTURE’S EMERGENCY CHILLER SHOWERS BEAT THE BAHRAIN HEAT

                 UK manufacturer Showers & Eyebaths Services has supplied a leading global operator of water services with three newly designed tank showers fitted with water chillers which are effective when required as a decontamination facility for personnel working in extreme heat.

These units are destined for the Tatweer Petroleum project in Bahrain where temperatures can soar to 38°C. The chillers are fitted to the side of the tank to control the water temperature to 20°C and in hazardous areas the chillers are mounted on the floor.

This new emergency drenching facility can hold 1500 litres of water which will guarantee 15 minutes of tepid water simultaneously from the shower and eyebath as recommended by ANSI 2009 standards.

These units are ideal for any environment and in particular extreme heat with a number already in situ in the Middle East.
